ALEF Fund

Thanks to a Georgia law, you can donate funds that support Jewish education and reduce your state taxes.  The funds are used for student scholarships to our school, and at the same time, earn a dollar-for-dollar State of Georgia Tax Credit – up to $1,000 for a single individual and $2,500 for a married couple filing a joint return.  An approved contribution from a C Corporation provides up to a 75% tax liability reduction as well. 

Our school was able to provide more than $307,600 in scholarships for eligible students during the 2010 - 2011 school year.    

To ensure your donation makes it in by the deadline, we recommend making your contribution no later than November 15.  If you missed the deadline this year, be sure to plan on participating next year.  The Alef Fund is an easy way to support our students.
