Atlanta Jewish Music Festival

The Atlanta Jewish Music Festival (AJMF) celebrates its 10th year with two specially curated weekends of talent sure to please seasoned connoisseurs and curious music lovers alike. AJMF opens March 7th wit the Grammy award-winning Bill Charlap Trio playing the music of Leonard Bernstein at the Atlanta History Center. The Festival, which runs from March 7th-17th will focus on exciting Jewish contributions to American music, including an exploration of the Jewish imprint on the Academy Awards Best Original Song winners, the legendary Ben Sigran's "Jews, Music and The American" dream presentation, and ATL Collective performing the music of Chicago's "Chess Records", the legendary record label which, founded by two Polish Jewish immigrants, is credited with the release of the first Rock N' Roll song.

The Atlanta Jewish Music Festival runs March 7th-17th at various venues around Atlanta. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here. 

Young Chefs Academy of Sandy Springs

Weekly Classes: Thursday's (4:30-6:00pm), Friday's (5:30-7:00pm), Saturday's (10:00-11:30pm), Saturday Kindercooks (10:30-11:30am on the first and third Saturday of each month).

Homeschool Cooking Classes: Every other Tuesday (11:00am-12:15pm). $29/class or $50 for a monthly membership

Walk4Friendship

Join hundreds of people from across Atlanta and Walk4Friendship! An amazing community event that raises crucial funds for Friendship Circle and betters the lives of children and adults with special needs. Sandy Springs Youth Sports Baseball & Softball Spring Registration Is NOW Open

Spring baseball and softball leagues are currently forming at Sandy Springs Youth Sports, convienently located at the Moragan Falls Atheletic Fields off of Roswell Road. Baseball begins at ages 4-5 and softball at 5 years old. Register early for a discount as we expect leagues to fill up quickly. Spring Baseball and Softball Details:

  • Baseball Ages: 4-12 years old
  • Softball Ages: 5-12 years old
  • Team buddy requests available at younger ages

The Convention & Visitors Bureau of Dunwoody is here to help locate available hotels, negotiate room rates, assist with selecting event space, find Deejays and other needed services, coordinate itineraries for out of town family and guests, help line up transportation, and provide welcome bags for those needing overnight accommodations.  The best part? It's all complimentary!
